The JohhnyMcKilt Productions

...spreading insanity since 2004

Why Johhny Mckilt?

We were still a part of the NightJade Court when Ching and Skyle decided to break off and start their own group. The politics in the court back then was getting pretty unbearable. We weren't fifteen yet, and we were in search of a name. Chi came up with RyanLala. The option was up for consideration.

Till one day, Ching misheard a friend's joke one lunch hour, the statement being, "Johnny wears a kilt?" And the reply coming in as, "What? Johnny Mckilt?"

The name was consequently adopted (with the signature double-h) and the Prod started to grow under the name. Our affiliates BtV and MC eventually merged under the RyanLala (which they had in turn adopted). The JMP came under the RyanLala, because we are but a part of their whole. Sister Prods consequently developed under us.

Humble Beginnings?

We started out, May 13, 2004, with a FanFiction.Net account under the name rEDsILVERwOLF, in honor of Akai-gin Okami whom we owe the successes of our very first stories to. Our pename changed to thekaichouoftheworld around the time Noru had taken the reigns and was leading with fics. It changed to ImRelatedToRaulFernandez when Whitie and Ran arrived and our works were steadily increasing. It changed again to yugiohoho and a bottle of gel for reasons unknown. Sort of like a filler before we settled for The JohhnyMckilt Productions.

We took a FictionPress account on May 26 of the same year under the name bAkA_101. Our older stories (though there aren't much there) still feature the six baka muses. We took a deviantArt account February 22, 2007, though none of us cares enough to celebrate any anniversaries for those. Ah pffft...

Natsumi and the Four Idiots of the Soul Bathroom

(...namely Apple, Chi, Noru and Nix)

Once upon a time, there were seven bored people (people above with Ching and Skyle included) operating an empty, amateur fanfiction.net account. The only thing they did back then was read and read stories. On blue moons, they tried generating ideas in the cramped cyber bathroom they worked in. Most of the crap they produced were flushed down the bowl.

Ching, Skyle and the Five Divas

They were still the same old set of boring people. The only difference was they’ve stopped moping and admiring other authors and actually got their asses off the couch. A couple of self-generated stories got them out of their bathroom and earned them a decent sound system, which Nix mastered and lorded over.

The Bed Leeches

The cyber office of the early Prod was small but not poor. It held a super computer, the beloved sound system and two beds. When Whitie and Ran joined in, they preferred lounging on the beds instead of sitting and working by the computers where the rest were. Though seemingly negligent, the pair headed and helped launch a whopping series of successful stories, striking confidence in the group enough to revive a dying account in fictionpress.com. Whitie was dubbed the Guru of Plot Bunny Conception.

Rien and the Crazy Music Boxers

When Rien, Migs and Jules arrived, that’s when the fun really began. They were Nix’s old friends and they arrived at the season of the Prod’s rise to fame. By then, the group’s cyber office had grown and the new trio preferred to hang around by the sound system. They cracked the jokes, took the outrageous risks and produced the creative and innovative stuff. Combined with the Bed Leeches, the group’s story increase was unstoppable. It was time the JMP expanded.

The Arrival of Noru’s twin

Boru joined at a time when the Prod was extremely busy developing young accounts in different websites other than fanfiction.net. He came with countless resources, helping the JMP finally take their internet career to the skies. He's dubbed as Noru's twin because, although unrelated, the pair almost look exactly like each other. Even Nix was rumored to have the hots for Boru!

A Family Affair

Abby was a member of Mobulynn City, but due to certain circumstances, she formally transferred to the JMP staff late 2008, having been a huge support since the productions began. Paolo was a member of the NightJadean Court, but after being disbanned, he was placed under the care of Ching and Skyle, whom he treats as his parents. He formally transferred to the JMP staff also around late 2008, having always hung out at the office and giving great contributions especially with the boom of the JMP's deviantArt account.
